NDI Tools Knocking Out Mellanox Drivers

by Michael Gerrity - Number of replies: 2

Hello, I hope I'm in the right place, the help forum doesn't seem to be working and the support form is also broken.

I have a Lasergraphics motion picture scanner and was trying to use NDI Tools screen capture to remotely monitor and display the scanner image. However, NDI Tools seems to be overwriting or damaging the Mellanox Driver which is used to communicate with the machine vision camera in the scanner. Is there any way around this? What's the best way to get in contact with NDI directly to make them aware of this issue?

Thanks!

The cause is probably a driver conflict between NDI’s virtual capture driver and your scanner's Mellanox driver. Try installing NDI on a different machine to avoid the conflict.

If you still need help you can always submit a support ticket.

You might try disabling the NDI Webcam Video and NDI Webcam Audio drivers found in Sound, video and game controllers inside Device Manager.
