I have set the NDI Tools app WEBCAM to run on Startup on my PC. It will not run as I have instructed, and it won't even run when I use the launcher and tell it to run.
I'm not sure if Windows has an update that made it not work, or if a security setting on my PC has changed.
Please tell me what to do to get this app working again.
I've used NDI for many years. Now it just doesn't work.
Here are some things to check, guesses really.
If you open Computer Mangement, go to Event Viewer>Windows Logs>Application do any message appear about NDI Webcam? That might give a hint as to the issue.
NDI Webcam saves it preferences in "%localappdata%\NDI" in a file named "Application.Network.WebCam.v1.json". You could delete this file to reset the application back to defaults and see if that makes any difference.
Is this computer connected to a domain or have third party anti-virus/security software installed? If so, it might be something there updated and is blocking NDI Webcam from running. You might see if you can add an exception into that software to ignore this application.

NDI doesn't show up anywhere in those.
I'm stumped. NDI Webcam only works directly after reinstalling the software. If I close it down, or restart my PC, Webcam will not run again.
