I’m currently developing an Android app that receives NDI streams (receive-only) and I’m trying to understand the real-world licensing experience.
I’m aware that Android is excluded from the free NDI SDK license and that a commercial license is required, but I’d like to hear from people who have actually gone through this process.
Specifically, I’m interested in:

Have you successfully released an Android NDI receiver?

Was it NDI|HX only or Full NDI?

Was the app free or paid?

How was the licensing process (response time, rough conditions)?

Any gotchas you wish you had known earlier?
I’m not looking for a legal ruling here, just practical experiences and advice before contacting Vizrt/NDI licensing directly.
