Description: I am reporting a regression issue found in NDI Tools version 6.3.1.0 regarding the NDI Audio Direct VST plugins.
When using NDI Audio Direct within a VST Host (specifically tested in Kushview Element and VSTHost), the dropdown menus within the plugin interface—including NDI Source, Channel Number, and Audio Level—do not persist their settings. After selecting an option from the dropdown, the selection immediately resets or fails to be applied, making the plugin unusable as it cannot lock onto a source or configuration.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open a VST Host (e.g., Kushview Element).
Load the NDI Audio Direct VST plugin.
Attempt to select an available NDI Source or change the Channel Number from the dropdown menu.
Observe that the selection does not "stick" or save, returning to a default or empty state.
Comparison / Expected Behavior:
In NDI Tools v6.2.1.0: The same operations work perfectly. Settings are saved and applied immediately upon selection.
In NDI Tools v6.3.1.0: The UI components (dropdowns) appear to be broken or failing to communicate the state change to the plugin core.
Environment:
OS: Windows 10/11
NDI Tools Version: 6.3.1.0 (Problematic) / 6.2.1.0 (Working)
Host Software: Kushview Element (and potentially other modular VST hosts)
Hopefully, the dev team can look into this regression, as I am currently forced to stay on version 6.2.1.0 to maintain my workflow.
