NDI Discovery Server 6.3.2.0 / Clients Refresh Terminal Window

by Oliver Eenboom - Number of replies: 3
Hello  NDI,

we are running NDI Discovery Server 6.3.2.0 on an AWS EC2 and updated it to the last version.
In version 5 the NDI clients were visible in the terminal window. That no longer seems to be the case in version 6.

All of our devices on the network can reach the server, and the Tricaster also reports that it is connected.

Any ideas?

I just tried Discovery Service 6.3.2 and I'm seeing devices register in the console window.  If you run an NDI application on the local system with Discovery Service, does anything appear?

Hey thanks!
I assume an old Windows Version. We running the discovery server on windows server 2019.
On an local spare pc with windows 11 no problems.

Just a quick question: is bonjour network protocol used behind?
Thanks

For mDNS it depends on which side of the connect we are talking about.

If a device has been configured to use Discovery Server:
  • When looking for source Inputs, the device will find both mDNS and Discovery Server sources.
  • The device's Output is only accessible via Discovery Server (other devices on the network will need to be configured to use Discovery Server to see this device).
