I am using NDI Free Audio - (I have written powershell scripts that I will share) connecting ASIO Matrix. The main focus is to mux -demux audio streams, BUT is seems that Free Audio only supports 2 channels of Audio - in and out. Is this true or am I missing some documentation?
My understanding is that NDI Free Audio should pass on the same number of channels as the source. A 16ch ASIO source should become a 16ch NDI signal.
However, I don't have any multi-channel audio sources to test this with. What are you using ASIO wise?

I just realized I do have a multi-channel ASIO interface. When I told NDI Free Audio to use my Dante VSC interface (setup as 16x16) as an input, I was able to verify that the created NDI source shows up with 16 channels of audio using NDI Analysis.
Thanks for the reply Kane, I am using VB Audio Matrix (This works well with everything I have thrown at it) . I have written a powershell tool that uses FreeAudio to map NDI sources to and from it. But every input and output using FreeAudio only flows the first 2 channels. https://vb-audio.com/Matrix/index.htm
OK there was a setting in the Matrix/Windows setup that I just learned about for the VAIO inputs, I have 8 channels working. (all that they support) .
Now I can route NDI audio into matrix.
There is still a bug in Fairlight Live that is a blocker I think.
Thanks for confirming the NDI FreeAudio.

Now trying to check input to NDI FreeAudio, I am only getting 2 (of 8) channels into an NDI Stream. Thoughts?
OK it helps if I need the manual. The VAIO are tied to Windows Audio. I had to set the outputs in window to 8 channel. Page 20... https://vb-audio.com/Matrix/VBMatrix_UserManual.pdf
I have updated my tools, if you are interested @kane I am looking forward to more NDI Audio projects. https://github.com/stevespaw/NDI-Audio-to-Matrix
