Is there a way to tell what NDI format (FB, HX1, HX2, HX3) is being sent by the source in studio monitor?

NDI Analysis provides the ability to determine this, but you need to know what to look for, it doesn't tell you directly.

When you use the /find command, if a source is listed as type="NDI|HX", then you know it is a HX1 device. For anything that says type="NDI" then it is High Bandwidth, HX2 or HX3.

Using the /source command you can open an NDI stream.  If the codec is SpeedHQ then it is High Bandwidth NDI.   If it is H.264/HEVC then it is HX2/HX3.  Finding out the difference between HX2 and HX3 isn't' as easy, but there a video data rate value in NDI Analysis, if this value is less than 20Mbps, then it most likely is HX2 and if the value is higher than most likely it is HX3.
