NDI Bridge

Hi folks, I've set up an NDI Bridge Host and joined it with a second NDI Bridge. Working great after I added Discovery Service to the mix.

Now, I tried to use Access Groups to share the NDI sources on the Host end but not the ones on my joined end.

I've created an Access Group and added the sources on the Host end to that Access Group. This works and the sources only show up on the remote end when I correctly add the Acceess Group.

But still all my sources in the Public group on the remote end show up on the Host machine. What am I missing?

What is the JOIN side of the Bridge set to share? If it is Public then it will share all those sources back to the HOST side of the connection.

Hi Kane, Ah, yes. Thanks. The thing that tripped me is that the computer needs a reboot when you change the Access Manager settings.

Looks like that is working now.

You don't have to reboot the entire computer, but you do have to restart any NDI application to 'see' the Access Manager changes.

Hi Oliver, if you're interested we've just updated our articles on Access Manager to reflect the restart requirement after changing the settings. Have a look.
