NDI Screen Capture

NDI Screen Capture

by Keff Kerry - Number of replies: 1

We are using a TC1 for our NDI screen capture from a Laptop.  Each time I add it to the TC1 the Laptop Shows up along with the Graphics Card info.  But the screen does not show up on TCi just a black page.  We have to restart the laptop and the TC1.  And then start a new session on TC1 every time.

Also not that I have the NDI Screen program to start up when the Laptop is booted up.

Any suggestions as to how to get this problems fix.

We do have the latest version of NDI installed on both the TC1 and the Laptop.

Some laptops have dual GPUs, if that is the case often you will need to force which GPU will be used by NDI Screen Capture. On my Dell Precision, which has Intel and nVidia GPUs, NDI Screen Capture only works correctly if the Intel GPU is used.

In later versions of Windows this setting can be found in display settings, in older versions of Windows this was often configured in GPU control panel for the card (like the nVidia control panel).
